HAGERSTOWN, MD - It was another success story for the Lynx indoor track team at Hagerstown Community College Friday night. With more than 8 school records and numerous personal records, Carroll showed once again that they can compete with any team in their space.
Hayley Yuenger showed her amazing versatility and athleticism yet again as she set indoor records in the shot put, pole vault and high jump. Added to her previous records in the hurdles, long jump and triple jump, Hayley dominates the Carroll record book.
Deon Whitlow again showed that he is one of the top collegiate sprinters in the state as he won the 55 meter dash, breaking his own record with a time of 6.44. Deon is now within 1 tenth of a second of qualifying for the NJCAA National Championship.
Marshall Whitlow continues to show tremendous improvement in every meet. In his second time competing in the shot put, Marshall improved by 7 feet, setting another school record
Caroline Vogelsang set new school records in the 1 Mile and 3000 meters as she continues to prove herself as the most accomplished distance runner in the program's history.
Jeshua Jerusalem ran a very impressive leg in the 4x800 relay and then came back 30 minutes later to set a new school record in the 600 meters.
Cross Imbraguglio also made a big contribution in the 4x800 relay, 600 meters, and then ran a huge race in the 4x400 relay.
