Last Friday, the Lynx Track & Field team competed in the last meet of the season. And just like the first meet, records were broken and at the end of the day, Logan Rich once again found a way to out do himself. The 4-time Regional Champion came through on his first throw in the final to set a new personal record and break his own school record. Logan's previous best of 48 meters was bested with a throw of over 50 meters. Logan has stood toe to toe with some of the finest NCAA Division 1,2, & 3 Javelin throwers in the region. Each time he has represented himself, the Lynx Track team, and the college in a professional manner with a competitive spirit that should make us all proud. Alexander Nicolaides began triple jumping only 2 months ago. It is a very difficult event to learn for new comers. For the second time this season he broke the school Triple Jump record. Alona Lakhmaniuk and Alyssa Ruff celebrated new personal records in the 800 & 200 meters respectively. Our season wrap up is soon the come.
