HAGERSTOWN, MD - For the Carroll Lynx Golf team's first match of the season it was a bit cool and windy but sunny. This event was a full field with Hagerstown as the host at Maryland National Golf Club. Other colleges in attendance were Anne Arundel CC, Carroll CC and Southern Maryland CC. Anne Arundel and Southern Maryland had the luxury of fielding two teams. The day was highlighted by a few of our Carroll Lynx team members playing solidly with Micah Ozgar shooting a solid 85 with a couple of birdies along the way and Jacob Gouge with an 87 (also with a birdie). Jamison Gouge was the leader of the day for the Lynx (and our player of the week) with a smooth 77, making an eagle on hole 15 for the highlight reel. Jamison finished tied for 3rd as an individual participant (out of 33). Although as a team the Lynx finished 4^th , there were lot's of positives from the first event and a good start to the season. The Lynx head to the College of Southern Maryland on Thursday, April 3 for their next tournament.
