• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx were unable to overcome a powerful Hagerstown Hawks team in a straight sets loss.          

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lynx fell behind early and couldn't complete the comeback as they fell 25-15 in the first set.
• Carroll put up a much better fight in the second set, but still couldn't pull it out as they fell 25-22.
• Once again it was a slow start in the third set that doomed the Lynx as they lost the third set 25-15.

GAME NOTES

• Karley Badorf picked up another double-double as she had 10 blocks and 12 digs along with 2.5 blocks.
• Emily McElwaine added six kills with Miriam Zuazo close behind with two kills and seven blocks.
• Sophia DiMaggio collected eight digs while also earning the only ace of the match for the Lynx.

• The Lynx will continue their busy week when they return home for a match on Thursday, September 12 at 6 PM against the College of Southern Maryland.
