• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx were able to take the early lead but were unable to hold off the first place Anne Arundel Riverhawks.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lynx got out to a fantastic start as Talula Castanzo hit a perfect corner kick into the middle of the box for Haley Greenwade to rise above and head the ball home in the fourth minute of the game.
• Anne Arundel was held scoreless for 30 minutes before finally breaking through to tie the game.
• From there, the Riverhawks scored two more goals late in the first half and added two more in the second half to close out the win.

GAME NOTES

• Greenwade scored her 10^th goal of the season, the third most for any player in the region. She led the team with three shots on the game.
• Castanzo picked up her first point of the season with the assist as the central defender was able to add to her resume after stellar defense all season long.
• Brooke Turner made 9 saves in her first game as a Lynx, filling in admirably for the injured Chloe Herpel.
