• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx scored early, but were unable to stay with the Riverhawks in a tense, physical game.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Anne Arundel scored in the third minute of the game to set the tone for an action packed game.
• It took just 13 seconds for the Lynx to tie it up as Edwin Alfaro was able to chase down a long ball as he squared a pass to Julio Batista who hammered a shot into the top left corner to tie the game.
• The Riverhawks responded back with two more goals in the first half, adding two more in the second half to pull away.
• The game saw plenty of cards throughout including two Anne Arundel players seeing a red card late in the game.

GAME NOTES

• Batista scored his first goal of the season in the game and the third of his collegiate career.
• Alfaro picked up his team leading 4^th assist of the season as the only Lynx player with more than one assist on the year.
• James Stevens made a second straight start in goal for the Lynx, stopping 10 shots in the contest.
