• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx were unable to hold an early lead as they fell to nearby rivals CCBC Catonsville Cardinals 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lynx got out to a great start to the contest as Armando Armand intercepted a pass from the Cardinals' defense and passed over to Daniel Wojtkowiak who powered a shot into the bottom left corner.
• Carroll continued to get good chances at Edwin Alfaro saw a couple of attempts narrowly miss the goal while Wojtkowiak and Jassir also had multiple attempts miss the mark.
• Catonsville was able to answer back with two goals in the first half and another two in the second half as they pulled away from the Lynx.

GAME NOTES

• Alfaro led the team with four shots, his second most in a game this season.
• Wojtkowiak's goal was his team leading fifth of the season while Armand's assist was his first of the year.
• Wormley made six saves in goal while James Stevens finished the last 30 minutes in goal, making a save late in the game.
